CNTR

CONNECT, NURTURE, TRANSFORM, REBUILD

About

CNTR is a Survivor Led/Survivor Organized Nonprofit. We believe true healing requires a holistic approach. There are many stages to healing, and CNTR aims to support survivors on their journey post initial crisis.

CNTR is on a mission to shift the direct-service paradigm from crisis management to holistic services and long-term healing for survivors. We provide open support groups to the GBV (gender based violence) community, year-round workshops, pop-up events/panels and hosts healing arts retreats.

CNTR was born from our lived experiences navigating the gaps in GBV services. Long-term, survivor-centered healing for those impacted by domestic and sexual violence is scarce. Support groups are frequently limited and overcapacity, CNTR exists to fill that gap — providing intentional aftercare, community, and holistic healing spaces so survivors are not left to navigate recovery alone.

Survivor led, survivor organized; CNTR strives towards this dream by offering year-round services and survivor led projects.

CURRENTLY AT CNTR...

At CNTR, our projects are where healing meets action. From survivor-led public art and creative publications to immersive retreats, workshops, and community-centered events, each initiative is designed to restore connection, amplify survivor voices, and reimagine what healing can look like.

Our work is intentionally trauma-informed and rooted in expressive arts—meeting survivors where they are while building pathways toward transformation. Every project carries its own story, impact, and opportunity to engage

WHAT SURVIVORS HAVE TO SAY:

IF YOU COULD ENVISION MORE IDEAL SERVICES AVAILABLE, WHAT MIGHT THEY LOOK LIKE?

"Services that pay attention to my whole story. I am past the immediate crisis but still dealing with trauma from it."

SUPPORT THE MISSION

CNTR exists because of community care. Your donation directly supports survivor-centered programs, creative healing spaces, public awareness projects, and accessible resources for those impacted by gender-based violence.

By giving to CNTR, you are investing in healing that is holistic and led by survivors themselves. Every contribution — large or small — helps us continue building spaces where survivors can connect, nurture, transform, and rebuild.
